1995 - 2003
Kate Beckinsale dated Welsh actor Michael Sheen. The pair met when cast in a touring production of "The Seagull" in early 1995, moved in together shortly afterwards and started a nine-year affair. The two have a daughter together named Lily Mo Sheen, born in 1999. Kate has claimed it was "love at first sight" and that he saved her from "a hospital for the criminally insane". In 1997, they appeared in a radio production of "Romeo and Juliet". Just after moving to LA from London, they went their separate ways amid reports of Beckinsale's infidelity, which she denies. Beckinsale admitted she was "embarrassed" that Sheen never proposed but felt as though she were married: "If you keep a library book out long enough, you feel it's yours."

2003 - Present
Kate Beckinsale is dating director Len Wiseman. The couple met while filming "Underworld." It was rumored that she cheated on ex boyfriend Michael Sheen with Wiseman (who was married at the time), something that the actress denies. All parties, aside from Wiseman's first wife, have maintained that there was no infidelity. After dating for a couple of months, Len popped the question and they tied the knot on May 9, 2004 in Bel-Air, California. They honeymooned in Mexico and live in Los Angeles. Beckinsale and Wiseman both remain pals with Sheen.
