Bob Hoskins Dead At 71

Bob Hoskins, the Oscar nominee and star of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", has passed away from pneumonia. He was 71.  




Hoskins quit his acting career in 2012 after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's illness, with his last part coming in the "Huntsman" and "Snow White".


Hoskins received critical acclaim for his characters in movies such as "Mona Lisa", for which he earned an Academy Award nomination, as well as "Nixon", "Mermaids", "The Honorary Consul" and "The Long Good Friday".


He is most famous for his portrayal of private detective Eddie Valiant in the film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", a fantasy comedy in which humans and cartoon characters interact.
